Highbury Care Services was established in 1996 as a family business specialising in the provision of domiciliary support of persons with learning disabilities and physical disabilities.
Over the following years the Company expanded, and in 2000 ‘Highbury’ respite services was founded. The respite facility provides short term residential support for younger adults with a learning disability.
In 2005 Highbury Care Services opened the Glyndwr Centre, an active day facility providing support for adults with a physical or learning disability seven days a week, 10am to 6pm.
Collectively at Highbury Services we encourage the independence of our Service Users, together with the unified assessment, appropriate risk assessments and with person centred planning we aim to enable our Service Users to reach their full potential in all areas of living.
We believe all individuals are unique and offer a service tailored to personal needs. Our highly trained and motivated staff promote all Services Users to have a valued and fulfilled life. We believe that all Service Users are entitled to ordinary living, ensuring their fundamental rights are safeguarded.
We strife to enhance the everyday life skills of the individuals, whilst encouraging them to be integrated positively and participate fully within the local community whilst working within their own personal guidelines.
Both the recent Investors in People and CSSIW inspections paid compliment to the company’s robust management system and audit trails, with no recommendation for improvement being made.
Highbury Care Services can accommodate the diverse needs of individuals and offer great flexibility within our team. Our staff can take instruction or use their own initiative when working as a team or independently. We take pride in our work and take real satisfaction in enhancing the lives of Service Users.
